Where Healing Finds Its Quiet Space

Trauma-focused therapy rooted in safety and compassion

Therapy for adults and adolescents navigating trauma, anxiety, and life transitions in Williston, Watford City, and across North Dakota.

Caldera Therapy offers trauma-informed therapy for adults and adolescents navigating the impacts of trauma, anxiety, depression, and significant life transitions.

Therapy is grounded and collaborative, with attention to how trauma and stress live in the nervous system. We focus on building safety first, then supporting healing in a way that feels manageable, steady, and respectful of your pace.

Serving clients within the Williston and Watford City, ND communities and across North Dakota via Telehealth.

The Process

  • Geometric drawing of an outline square with sections divided by vertical, horizontal, and diagonal lines.

When initiating services we prioritize stabilization, grounding, and trust before deeper trauma processing.

  • Geometric drawing of an outline square with sections divided by vertical, horizontal, and half circle lines.

Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART), a variety of other modalities, including Internal Family Systems (IFS) and somatic approaches are used thoughtfully, with careful attention to pacing and nervous-system regulation.

You remain in control of your pace, your story, and your goals throughout therapy.

You might be here because…

  • You feel stuck in patterns you understand but can’t seem to change

  • Anxiety or stress feels constant, even when things “should” be okay

  • Past experiences still affect how safe, calm, or connected you feel

  • You’re functioning day to day, but not feeling like yourself

  • You’re ready for support that feels thoughtful, steady, and respectful of your pace

Why Caldera?

A caldera forms after disruption—when the ground gives way, reshapes, and slowly finds stability again. Healing after trauma often unfolds in much the same way — slowly, and with support.

Trauma shapes how the nervous system learns to survive. Long after the danger has passed, the body may still brace—through anxiety, shutdown, emotional overwhelm, or patterns that no longer feel aligned with who you are. At Caldera Therapy, these responses are understood as adaptations.

My work reflects this process. I move at a pace guided by your nervous system, focusing first on restoring steadiness after overwhelm so that calm, clarity, and change can emerge in a way that feels sustainable.
